The Institute of Astrophysics of Andalusia (IAA-CSIC) is promoting this exhibition project, which combines informative panels, scale models, three-dimensional models, and real engineering pieces to bring the objectives of the PLATO mission closer to the public.

The exhibition begins its tour at the National Museum of Science and Technology of Madrid (MUNCYT) in Alcobendas, where it can be visited until April 2026, and will then continue to other science museums in the country.

Andy (formally Andrés Moya Bedón) which is PI-Invest Disting d'Excellencia Comunidad Valenciana proposed a future application of the PLATO development at the Technical Session on the RIA-Tec2Space 19-22 April 2022.

HAYDN benefits from the heritage of PLATO, but it is designed for the observation of dense stellar fields (HAYDN FoV 1.3 vs PLATO FoV 3.7).

IAA PLATO team attended to the RIA-Tec2Space meeting, which is the forum where engineers and scientists can present their work to the Spanish astronomic community.

The MEU team from IAA presented the MEU Poster (full resolution) describing the actual work of the MEU in PLATO mission.

The PLATO mission does not stop, the 26th May 2020 progress meeting faces the COVID moving to teleconference event.

The PLATO members met for the PLATO Progress Meeting of 26th May 2020, by means of teleconferencing. We welcome the effort of all of them to mitigate the impact of the COVID in the mission.
