Plato donde miras?

Duration: 20/01/2026 - 15/04/2026

The Institute of Astrophysics of Andalusia (IAA-CSIC) is promoting this exhibition project, which combines informative panels, scale models, three-dimensional models, and real engineering pieces to bring the objectives of the PLATO mission closer to the public.

The exhibition begins its tour at the National Museum of Science and Technology of Madrid (MUNCYT) in Alcobendas, where it can be visited until April 2026, and will then continue to other science museums in the country.

The National Museum of Science and Technology (MUNCYT) in Alcobendas is hosting the temporary exhibition 'In Search of New Earths' dedicated to the European Space Agency's (ESA) PLATO space mission.

This temporary exhibition, which will be open until April 2026, was developed by the Institute of Astrophysics of Andalusia (IAA-CSIC), in collaboration with the other centers that make up the PLATO Spain consortium, the University of Granada (UGR), and the University of Valencia (UV). It also has the support of the Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology (FECYT) through its Call for Proposals for the Promotion of Scientific Culture and Innovation.

La entrada y la visita guiada en el MUNCYT son gratuitas para esta exposición.
